This is a work in progress! Unfortunately I did not have enough time to finish it before flying home for break. (A MUCH appreciated break. I am so happy to see my family, have a Christmas tree to sit by, and be able to work stress free!) I painted from a picture of myself when I was three. It was inspired by a memory of an attempt to fly off of my good friend Kelsey Calhoun’s fort when we were younger, by tying umbrellas to a blanket. I like to think of it as dreaming myself into reality. The collaging and color palette influenced more of my work(which will be posted soon!).
